4 Reasons the Riva 110’ Dolcevita is the Ultimate Flybridge for Summer Cruising
Picture this. You and your closest family or friends cruising through the crystal-clear waters of the Caribbean or Mediterranean, soaking up the sun as you relax on the sofa, taking in magnificent scenery from the flybridge of your own Riva superyacht. Not just any Riva, mind you, but the Riva 110’ Dolcevita, as the yachting life doesn’t get much sweeter than this. The
former flagship model of the Italian shipyard’s flybridge fiberglass series, just one look and it is clear why the Riva 110′ Dolcevita is a multiple award-winning design. From her strong, sleek, and sporty exterior styling to her “infinity deck” and experience out on the open sea, here we share four reasons that make her the perfect superyacht for summer cruising in style.
Design & Layout
Measuring 33.53 meters in length, her ultra-sporty profile and exterior lines, the result of a collaboration between Officina Italiana Design and Ferretti Group, are accentuated by expansive side glazing, with sharply shaped windows and chrome inserts. Visually striking, she features an asymmetrical design that is both functionally and aesthetically pleasing. The starboard walkway descends to the main deck, while the port side gently ascends to the flybridge, allowing for natural flow of movement onboard and giving her a single, expansive “infinity deck” of 34 square meters. One of the standout features of the 110′ Dolcevita is her steel-reinforced superstructure, which allows for expansive floor-to-ceiling windows in the main salon and lounge. Flooding the interiors with natural light, the 2.30-meter windows create an open, airy ambiance and provide 270-degree views.
Interiors
The 110′ Dolcevita features a refined, modern, and minimalist interior, which is inviting yet quietly elegant at the same time. Created by the Officina Italiana Design, it is marked by quality materials like rosewood, stainless steel, marble, and leather, which are present throughout her interiors. The interior design also includes innovative features, such as
functional elements, like flat wardrobe doors in all the staterooms, which have been seamlessly integrated to maintain the interior’s clean lines. The full-beam owner’s suite, located forward on the main deck, is one of the highlights of her interior design, with a dedicated lounge space and sweeping views on three sides. With four additional spacious guest ensuite staterooms on the lower deck, the Riva 110′ Dolcevita can accommodate up to ten overnight guests who will be expertly looked after by a crew of five.
Outdoor Living
Ideal for enjoying the best of outdoor living, the 110’ Dolcevita has expansive exterior spaces especially designed for relaxation and entertainment. The flybridge, partially covered by a hardtop with asymmetrical glass panels, features sunpads, a dining area, and a helm station. Forward, the foredeck provides a vast sunbathing area, with a jacuzzi perfect for relaxing, while the aft cockpit includes comfortable seating and dining options. A notable addition is the tender garage, which doubles as a beach club. The garage can be flooded to launch a tender or a jetski, integrating functionality with leisure.
Performance & Engineering
Featuring a draft of 1.99 meters, interceptors and fin stabilizers, the 110’ Dolcevita offers smooth handling and stability in both shallow and deep waters, even at higher speeds. Her spacious engine rooms house the twin MTU 16V 2000 M96L diesel engines that give her a top speed of 26 knots and a cruising speed of 23 knots, with a range of 430 nautical miles, making her suitable for both short cruises, like island hopping, or longer voyages along the coastline.
